Vocational Training Empowers 80+ Rural Women

Economic dependence is one of the biggest hurdles rural women face. To address this, Hanfi Foundation launched the Women's Vocational Training Initiative in 2025. We set up a fully equipped center with modern sewing machines and invited industry professionals to run training modules. The curriculum didn't stop at tailoring; we included basic financial literacy, banking, and digital marketing. Today, these 80+ women have established their own self-help cooperative. They have secured a major contract to sew uniforms for local municipal schools. Average household incomes have increased by 45%, giving these women a strong voice in their families and community decisions.
