Clean Drinking Water for 5 Chickmagaluru Villages

Waterborne illnesses were a persistent hazard in five remote villages near Chickmagaluru, with local children frequently missing school due to contaminated sources. Recognizing the critical health emergency, Hanfi Foundation spearheaded a clean drinking water campaign in 2025. We installed five state-of-the-art reverse osmosis (RO) water purification units. Operated and maintained by local self-help groups, these plants now provide safe, pathogen-free water to over 2,000 residents daily. Health records show a staggering 80% decline in stomach infections, directly improving overall school attendance and productivity.
